Ulysses Galvan of Dude, Sweet Chocolate died of leukemia on Wednesday. On March 6, Dallas Observer published an article about Galvan's battle with leukemia and announcing the Ulysses Galvan Benefit. This event raised more than $20,000 for Galvan and his upcoming bone marrow transplant. 

Dude, Sweet Chocolate Chef Katherine Clapner is now raising funds for Galvan's family. He left behind three children, one of which was scheduled to be his donor for the bone marrow transplant.
