Get Up and Give on #NTxGivingDay on September 22

The nation’s largest giving day is back for its 8th year on September 22, 2016. North Texas Giving Day, presented by Communities Foundation of Texas, has pumped more than $119 million into local nonprofits over the past seven one-day events and has broken four national giving day records since 2009. Last year, more than 1,000 Dallas County-based nonprofits benefited on North Texas Giving Day.

Donations $25 - $50,000 made 6 a.m. to midnight on Giving Day to nonprofits listed on www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org will be amplified by more than $2 million in bonus funds and prizes. A full list of prizes can be found at this link on www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org

The Dallas County Donation Station event will be at NorthPark Center (8687 North Central Expressway, Dallas 75225,) 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring free showcase performances by Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theater, Dallas Children’s Theater, The Texas Boys Choir, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts Dance Academy, Junior Players, Lone Star Wind Orchestra, and Shakespeare Dallas, and animals from Equest, Dallas Zoo, and SPCA of Texas. For performance times and latest details, go to: https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/dallas.

The third annual KidsGive sponsored by DFWChild provides kids a chance to donate their loose change and help with 20 hands-on, philanthropic kid activities like creating building block sculptures to donate to a local library with Color Me Empowered and making birthday party crafts for children in need with The Birthday Party Project. Attendance for everyone is free.
