The mixed-use development will host a half marathon, 10K, 5K, fun run and other community-centered activities in celebration of its grand opening

Sylvan | Thirty, the mixed-use development located at the crossroads of Oak Cliff and West Dallas, will host its grand opening celebration September 27. The celebration will kick off with “The Big Run,” a benchmark half marathon, 10K, 5K and fun run organized by Luke’s Locker and benefitting Big Brother and Big Sisters. Race routes will go through Kessler Park, West Dallas and the new Continental Street Pedestrian Bridge.

Sylvan | Thirty’s grand opening celebration will also include demonstrations and activities by tenants, a beer garden, live music, bike valet, crafts and various other entertainment throughout the day.

“Since the onset, Sylvan | Thirty has always made community outreach and involvement a top priority,” said Brent Jackson, Sylvan | Thirty developer. “So when it came to planning the grand opening, it only made sense to turn this celebration into a community-wide event where children and adults can enjoy and sample everything Sylvan | Thirty has to offer.”
