Starting July 3, Dallas Park and Recreation will distribute 10,000 complimentary admissions to residents ages 13-17

(DALLAS) - For the third year, Dallas teens can spend the summer brushing up on English literature at Shakespeare Dallas, smelling flowers at Dallas Arboretum, and cooling off at Bahama Beach Waterpark – all at no cost – as part of the City of Dallas’ Teen All Access Pass program.

Starting 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department will make 10,000 passes available on a first-come, first-served basis only to Dallas residents 13 to 17 years old. Recreation centers will open at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 5 to resume distribution.

The pass gives one teen and a limited number of companions free entry to some of Dallas’ signature museums, nature and botanical gardens, outdoor entertainment venues, and leisure facilities in July and August.

“I am thrilled that the ever popular and wildly successful Teen All Access Pass program is back and better than before. Thanks to the Dallas Park and Recreation Department and all our outstanding partner organizations, Dallas teens will have free access to Dallas’ first-rate cultural facilities and entertainment venues,” Mayor Eric L. Johnson said. ?

“This program is one of many tools our city is leveraging to give Dallas kids and teens the opportunity to keep cool, get active, expand their knowledge, and most importantly, stay safe this summer. Engaging Dallas’ youth during the summer months will lead us further down the path toward our goal of becoming the safest major city in the United States,” Mayor Johnson added.?

To get the passes, teens must register in person at a Dallas recreation center during the regular business hours and show proof of Dallas residency. Pass details, center locations, and a list of venues are at?DallasParks.org.

The program welcomes a new partner organization. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza joins returning partners:
