 : Reproductive Justice in Texas After Dobbs" \nIn June 2022\, the U.S. Sup
 reme Court overturned Roe v. Wade\, concluding that there was no constitut
 ional right to an abortion. This decision allowed TX's extreme anti-aborti
 on legislation to go into effect almost immediately\, limiting Texans' abi
 lity to obtain an abortion in practically all circumstances. This presenta
 tion will discuss the current legal landscape of abortion and reproductive
  rights in Texas and its present and future impacts on peoples' lives. It
  will also explore how we move forward as a community to not only protect
  a person's right to obtain an abortion\, but also to build\, or transitio
 n to a different legal\, political\, and cultural landscape to create a tr
 uly just and more equitable Texas for all. \n \nMelissa Thrailkill will be
  in our pulpit. Melissa describes herself as a lawyer and a lover of music
 \, fashion\, coffee\, politics and running for days. \nPlease note: In add
