Kidd Springs Central, the Friends of Kidd Springs Park, is holding their annual CONCERT FESTIVAL for the free Dallas Symphony Parks Concert on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Kidd Springs Park at 711 West Canty Street from 5 to 9:15 p.m. The KSC Concert Festival is the major fundraiser of the year for KSC and benefits the Dallas Parks Foundation for the Kidd Springs Park and Recreation Center. Assistant Conductor Ruth Reinhardt will lead the DSO in a program featuring light classics, patriotic tunes and other popular fare.
The “for all ages” concert festival will have food trucks, vendors, artisans, Fun Time Faces TX face painter, bounce house provided by Kidd Springs Recreation Center, Friends of North Oak Cliff Library storytelling, Dallas Fire & Rescue and THE ANNUAL LADYBUG SPRINKLE. Concert Festival is from 5 to 8:15 p.m. and the DSO plays at 8:15 p.m. and concludes around 9:15 p.m. Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico will provide entertainment starting at 7 p.m.
This is the Dallas Symphony’s 10th return to Kidd Springs and KSC’s 9th Annual Concert Festival. Last year’s attendance was over 2,700 and this year, we would like more than 3,000 in attendance. Nothing says we appreciate the DSO, than coming out to support them. Make plans to join us.
The Dallas Symphony Parks Concert Series kicked off on May 28th with the annual Memorial Day Concert at Flagpole Hill and Timberglen Park on May 31st. Additional Parks Concerts

The 2018 Dallas Symphony Orchestra Parks Concerts are presented by Bank of America with additional generous support from ExxonMobil, Cigna, Methodist Dallas Medical Center, the Office of Cultural Affairs and Nordstrom. All concerts are free and open to the public.
