NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
FORT WORTH AVENUE/WEST COMMERCE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
&
PROPOSED THOROUGHFARE PLAN AMENDMENTS
Your input is requested at a community meeting on
Tuesday, February 21st, 2012
to discuss how Fort Worth Avenue/West Commerce Street can
become a more “Complete Street.” The meeting will cover getting input on
the proposed vision, near-term and long term implementation measures
along with the required Thoroughfare Plan amendment process.

This meeting will allow for community input on the proposed amendments
which include reducing the designated number of travel lanes from six to
four from IH-30 to Beckley Avenue and adding bicycle lanes along the
