Presbyterian Communities and Services, a faith-based nonprofit organization comprised of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and leading hospice services, has named Darrell Baltimore as executive director of Grace Presbyterian Village. Godwin Dixon, president and CEO of Presbyterian Communities and Services, made the recent announcement. Baltimore is an experienced senior care leader with a proven track record of exceptional leadership. He will manage every facet of the day-to-day operations of the community, ranging from budgeting and hiring staff to overseeing dining services and activities.
“I am touched by the deep connection our community forms with each resident,” Baltimore said. “Our commitment to our residents and their families is evident in everything we do. Lives are enriched by the quality lifestyle we provide and our residents are empowered to live their lives to the fullest.”
Baltimore has served 10 years as executive director at three large senior living companies, supervising and administering programs for older adults. He holds a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of North Texas and is a licensed Texas Nursing Home Administrator and a certified administrator for residential care homes. Coming to Grace fulfills his long-held ambition to work in the nonprofit sector, and he is excited to lead the team and continue their legacy of faithful service and quality care.
“We are thrilled to welcome Darrell to Grace Presbyterian Village,” said Dixon. “His range of knowledge in gerontology and senior living administration greatly impressed us. Darrell has a passion for creating a ‘resident-centered’ community, and we believe he will continue this proud community’s legacy of faithful service and wonderful care. We know that his commitment to exceptional customer service and top quality will be key to continuing the success of Grace Presbyterian Village.”
