The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its ninth Día de los Muertos Celebración over two weeks, beginning on Friday, October 27 through Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Crown Hill Memorial Park and Mausoleum. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Celebración builds on this tradition by presenting a two-week event featuring the art installation La Ceiba: The Sacred Tree of Life by artist Ricardo Alarcón; a visual art exhibition; dance performances by Grupo Pakal specializing in Mayan dance presentations; live mariachi music; family art activities, children’s entertainment; and food and beverage concessions. The Celebración is free and open to the public. Celebración
