The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its fourth Día de los Muertos Fiesta on Friday, November 2 in Crown Hill Memorial Park. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Fiesta will build on this tradition by presenting an opening parade; dance performances by Grupo Pakal, specializing in Mayan dance presentation, Alegre Ballet Folklorico; traditional face painting; altar building and blessing; children’s activities; live mariachi music; a costume contest; and a free showing of the Disney Pixar movie, Coco, at 7:30 p.m. The Fiesta is free and open to the public.
