2011 Old Oak Cliff Fall Home Tour 416 W. Eighth

Oak Cliff residents will have an opportunity to tour homes in the community that were built between 1900 and 1964 next month.

The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League is hosting a fall home tour that will showcase 14 older houses in the community from noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 8-9.

Tickets to the event can be purchased from now until Oct. 7 at a price of $20 for ages 11 and above and $12 for seniors at the Tom Thumb located at 315 S. Hampton or on the Conservation League's website. Tickets will also be sold during the weekend of the event at every house on the tour or at Ticket Central in the Bishop Arts District, but prices will go up to $25 for ages 11 and above and $15 for seniors.

The home tour is the biggest fundraiser hosted by the Conservation League, having raised $26,000 last year, which went to bettering the community.
