Four Bishop Dunne students performed at the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Solo and Ensemble Contest hosted by Greenhill School in Addison on March 1.
 
Sesalee Harris,  Rachel Gully and Amanda Monsalve performed a piece for flute trio and senior Lee Shaw performed a rudimental snare drum solo.  Both the Bishop Dunne Flute Trio and Lee Shaw earned a 1 on Grade 1 pieces, qualifying their entry to compete at the TPSMEA State Solo and Ensemble Contest on May 24.       
 
2nd year Percussion Instructor / Assistant Band Director Robert Fajardo, was thrilled with the results of the competition and said, "Bishop Dunne strongly supports our Band and music programs. This wouldn't be possible without the resources and facilities available to the students."
