Kidd Springs Central, the Friends of Kidd Springs Park community group, announces its 2014 Concert Festival to support the return of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Community Concert Wednesday, June 11, 2014. The Concert Festival and Community Concert take place in Kidd Springs Park and will have food and beverage trucks, artisans and kids’ activities at 6 p.m. The DSO Community Concert is at 8 p.m. Kidd Springs Park is located at 711 West Canty Street.

Local artisans, vendors, non-profit organizations, business and community groups are invited to participate and help raise funds for the Friends of Oak Cliff Parks’ Kidd Springs Park efforts. This year’s Concert Festival is sponsored by Good Space. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. The Kidd Springs Central Concert Festival starts at 6 p.m. at Kidd Springs Park. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Community Concert starts at 8 p.m. The DSO will make the call in the event of rain to move the concert indoors or cancel the concert.
