On May 14th, John Fullbright and his band will play songs from his new album, the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated debut, at The Kessler Theater. This is a chance for you to see a totally different side of John before the new record is released in May. He leaves behind acoustic guitar for piano (his first instrument) on many of the new songs; at a recent festival everyone from the Lone Bellow to David Bromberg asked him to sit in with them on keys, and gave him plenty of solos.

Watch him perform with a 9-piece band (featuring Buddy Miller and Larry Campbell) and gospel trio at the Americana Music Awards last fall.

The Wall Street Journal ranked John as one of the Ten Best Concerts of 2013, calling his show "ferocious...with his voice and guitar biting just right in a powerful presentation of rock and country that redefines his vast potential."
