Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. was recently re-elected to Texans Can Academies’ Board of Trustees for a second three-year term. Texans Can Academies is an open enrollment, public high school system of choice with 11 campuses statewide.

Rodriguez currently serves as senior vice president and general counsel of CEC (Chuck E. Cheese) Entertainment, Inc. of Irving. A graduate of Texas A&M University and Harvard Law School, Rodriguez’s private and in-house practice has primarily concentrated in commercial and employment litigation throughout his 25-year career. He has remained active in civic and bar organizations throughout his professional life. In addition to his role as a Board Trustee at Texans Can Academies, he is a founding director and president of the Denton High School Family Assistance Foundation, which provides assistance to members of his alma mater’s community of alumni, faculty, and staff.

“I am honored to have been selected for a second term as a member of the Board of Trustees and look forward to continuing our important work in offering an outstanding education to high school students,” said Rodriguez.

“We are fortunate to have Rudy continue on the board,” said Richard Marquez, CEO of Texans Can Academies. “Our trustees volunteer countless hours to guide our schools and assure we deliver the best education available to our students.”
