The Cedars West Arts Festival was launched in 2008 by a group of family-owned businesses in the southern Dallas neighborhood. Four years later, the festival is growing strong.
Head out to the Cedars District on June 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to hear music from the King Bucks, see art from area craftspeople, and be amazed by a steel sculpting exhibition. There's plenty for kids to do, too, with a bounce house, petting zoo, kids art zone, a children's wood workshop, and the city's oldest fire truck. There will be plenty of food, beer, and live music.
