The Davis Foundry Gallery will open its Summer Group Exhibition from June 2 to July 28, with an artist reception on June 9 at 6 p.m. the show, which features Texas artists, will include a variety of works that will create "a virtual snapshot at the present stage of their careers," says gallery owner Art Garcia.

There is no cost for admission, and Garcia says there will be an ice cream vendor at the show, so patrons can cool down while checking out new works from the state's hottest artists.
