The 6th Annual Oak Cliff Earth Day takes place on Sunday April 22nd from 12 to 5 p.m. at Lake Cliff Park located at the intersection of Colorado & Zang Blvd.   There will be a number of new additions to this year's festival including two programs by the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, a petting zoo for children, an expanded food pavilion including food trucks, more artists and more exhibitors.

A new event is the Oak Cliff Mutt Strut this April 22, at 2:00 PM.  Registration: starting at 12:48
at the Earth Day Registration Booth.  There is no
entry fee.  There will be prizes for the dogs with costumes
and personalities that best embody the spirit of earth day.

There will be art, drinks, food & plants for purchase.  Food options will include vegan desserts from Spiral Diner.   There will be a number of animal adoption groups on site and E-waste recycling will be available the day of the Festival.   There will be live entertainment all afternoon.  Methodist Hospital will provide a free shuttle bus from Lot #6 in the 1400 Block of N. Beckley Ave.   Registration for non-profits is free until April 2nd and then it is $20.   Registration for profit groups is $20 until April 2nd and then $45.
