After a 2003 matchup between the two Oak Cliff high school campuses, the Sunset Bison offense left the Adamson Leopards steamrolled. Nine years later, and after a resurgence in community spirit, the two teams went head-to-head again yielding vastly different results.

Adamson's varsity squad, lead by Josh Ragsdale, pummeled the Bison 33-5 on Friday, Sept. 7. So far, with two games under their belts, the Leopards are undefeated. 

The team's other win, against the Thomas Jefferson Patriots, showed the Leopards' resiliency with a 12-point surge in the fourth ending in a 32-6 win.

Correction: The final score of the Sept. 7 gleaned from statistics posted on MaxPreps.com as 14-5 was incorrect. Adamson beat Sunset by a score of 33-5.
