Junior Jorden Alex & Senior Katlin Stubbs relax in between work shifts at the Breast Cancer Awareness Tea held at the DFW Marriott this past Saturday.

Raising awareness about breast cancer means more than just wearing a pink ribbon to the Bishop Dunne Falconettes drill team.

The young women who make up the award-winning squad spent Friday evening and all day Saturday setting up, serving and cleaning up at the Breast Cancer Awareness Tea benefiting the American Cancer Society. This was the first year the Falconettes served at the tea, and they hope to make it a regular event on their schedule.

This is the first of a number of volunteer projects the Bishop Dunne Falconettes have planned for the new school year.
For more information on the Falconettes or their volunteer schedule email eculton@bdhs.org.
