Twelve Hills Nature Center Hosts a Free Butterfly Walk on July 7 at 9 am.

Look closely and you'll notice many different butterflies making their way around the gardens and even urban areas in Oak Cliff.   The beautiful insects not only provide interest to your garden, but also help pollinate it and serve as a food source for birds. Would you like to learn more and see some local butterflies in the process?

Dallas butterfly expert Dale Clark will lead a butterfly walk at Twelve Hills Nature Center this Saturday, July 7 at 9 am.  Join us at this family-friendly event and get close-up looks at the various butterflies at the nature center.  Learn how to attract these beautiful and beneficial insects to your garden.   Expect to see fritellaries, sulfurs, buckeyes, skippers and more.

Bring the kids but leave your pets at home.  Wear a hat and bring water.  Cancelled if raining.

Time: July, 7 from 9 am to 10:30 am.

Location: 817 Mary Cliff Road, Dallas, TX 75208
