Fairmont Dallas Introduces New Executive Chef and New Lobby Bar Menu Items

With the next year around the corner, what better way to end 2020 than with some delicious and comforting flair?

Fairmont Dallas is bringing the Texan and Mexican culinary heritage to Dallas with its brand new pop-up concept, La Taqueria at The Lobby Bar. Guests will see the culinary team in action, and indulge in burritos, bowls, tacos and quesadillas, all for $9 each. The Chef's Plato Especial is priced at $22, with multiple tasty choices and a refreshing cold beer. 

The concept of La Taqueria at The Lobby Bar and it’s fully functioning kitchen in the lobby lounge comes from Fairmont Dallas' new chef, Executive Chef Jean-Francois Fortin. Chef Jean-Francois was most recently the Executive Chef at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and brings 17 years of culinary experience to the hotel, guiding the strategic direction of Fairmont Dallas. 

The Fairmont Dallas is located in the center of downtown, where first-time visitors and locals can enjoy nearby entertainment before or after indulging in the afternoon food and beverage favorites from La Taqueria at The Lobby Bar.

The Pyramid Restaurant at the Fairmont Dallas is also offering a new menu of breakfast items each weekend morning from 8 to 11 AM. Enjoy breakfast burgers, burritos, fresh squeezed orange juice and drip coffee before heading out to explore the holiday festivities in downtown Dallas.
