Eighth graders Andre Young and Joe Martel are happy to be shown around campus by senior Zachary Haynes (center) at Middle School orientation Thursday on the Bishop Dunne campus. Haynes plays linebacker and safety on the Falcons football team and hopes to attend Howard University in Washington, D.C. next fall. He is one of a dozen varsity athletes volunteering today to welcome the younger students on their first day back on campus. High School orientation is Friday, Aug. 16.

The first day of classes is Monday, when the $6 million dollar renovations to the 52-year- old campus will be enjoyed by students and faculty.
