(Dallas, TX – July 2, 2021) Esposure, a global esports technology company with a proprietary Education to Entertainment (E2E) ecosystem focused on developing the next generation of esports professionals and competitive gamers, has partnered with Dallas area nonprofit For Oak Cliff to introduce underserved youth to opportunities in esports. Aiming to liberate South Oak Cliff from systemic oppression through the core focus areas of education, community building, advocacy and art, For Oak Cliff is sponsoring ten local students who will attend Esposure’s E2E Esports Immersion camp this summer.
Esposure’s four-week virtual program provides an educational and fun experience for students as they explore the esports industry through a STEM.org-accredited curriculum on the core components of the industry: management, marketing, production, technology and competition. The students will build an esports brand, develop a content strategy and simulate running an organization in tandem with a live esports league to build problem solving and critical thinking skills.

For Oak Cliff, which began its mission in 2015 and became fiscally independent in 2020, serves the 75216 Superblock, a South Oak Cliff community in Dallas, Texas. The organization’s approach includes providing education, advocacy, community building, and arts to the community. The nonprofit is also wanting to create an atmosphere of creativity and education within the community, and Esposure’s partnership with For Oak Cliff will further this effort.
