10 Exciting Spring Concerts Happening in the Area

With so many great concert venues in the DFW area, it's no wonder that plenty of talented artists make a stop to perform for North Texas. There are dozens of popular musicians heading our way over the next few months, and now is the time to grab your tickets.

Here are some of the top upcoming concerts you won't want to miss.

OneRepublic - March 16

If you're a fan of this pop-rock band that's cranked out an impressive number of popular tunes, then head over to Winstar World Casino. Yes, the casino is technically across the border in Oklahoma, but it's only an hour and a half drive from most areas of North Texas. Take a mini road trip to see classics like "Apologize" played live.

Phillip Phillips - The Magnetic Tour - March 28

This American Idol winner has won plenty of hearts with songs like "Home" and "Fly." This year, he's making a pit stop in Dallas to perform at the House of Blues. Don't miss the chance to get up close and personal with Phillips as he plays in this relatively small but beloved venue.

Thomas Rhett: Life Changes Tour - April 6

With several big hits like "Die a Happy Man" and "Make Me Wanna" under his belt, Rhett has definitely paved a path for himself in the world of country music. Break out your cowboy boots and head over to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington to see him perform live.

Braid Paisley Weekend Warrior World Tour - April 13

Come on, it's Texas, so we all knew there'd be a handful of country artists on this list. We'd certainly be slacking if we didn't mention superstar Brad Paisley's upcoming show at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving. Buy your tickets for this award-winning singer's show before they sell out.

Jack Johnson - April 27

This guy has made a name for himself in several fields, including filmmaking and professional surfing, but most of us know him for his soft rock tunes and soothing lyrics. Revisit old favorites like "Upside Down" and "Banana Pancakes" as he strums his guitar on The Pavilion's stage at Toyota Music Factory.

Foreigner - April 28

If you're willing to make another hop across a state border, Foreigner is playing at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant soon. Witness a live performance from one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, then check out the many amenities Choctaw has to offer. If you're not willing to visit Oklahoma, you can wait until Foreigner drops by Irving to play at the Toyota Music Factory in July.

P!Nk: Beautiful Trauma World Tour - May 1

When you go to a P!nk concert, you're in for more than just good music. The singer-songwriter is known for her impressive performances and dancing, and with hits like "Get the Party Started" and "So What," you'll definitely be jamming out in no time. Kenny Chesney: Trip Around the Sun Tour - May 16

Ah, another country classic. Chesney has produced more than forty top ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and he'll be playing many of them at the AT&T stadium once May rolls around. Can you think of a better way to welcome 2018's summer than with classic country songs and a stellar performer?
