They may not be able to vote yet, but Bishop Dunne students Preston Gorman and Jordan Alex aren't going to sit on the sidelines for this election.

The Preston, a senior, and Jordan, a junior, are students in Kevin Braun's AP statistics class. As a class project, the two used their AP physics period to poll voters at John Carpenter Elementary School — just across Rugged Drive from the Bishop Dunne campus — after they cast their ballots. The two will attempt to prognosticate how the election will turn out in this area of Oak Cliff.

For those who have yet to cast their vote, Dallas County Elections has a comprehensive list of polling locations, all of which are open until 7 p.m.

Want to watch the returns come in? Eno's Pizza Tavern and Lockhart Smokehouse in the Bishop Arts District will be hosting an election watching party starting at 7 p.m.
