Tasting Wristbands Are Still Available For Blues, Bandits, And BBQ Fest Saturday

Admission to this year's Blues, Bandits, and BBQ fest is free this year, but if you want to sample the ample 'cue from this year's competitors, you can snag a $20 wristband before they sell out.

The location is a bit of a change from last year's shindig at Lake Cliff Park. The festival will set up just outside the Bishop Arts District at 750 W. Davis St. It's beter known as the site of Mulcahy Modern's "1,700 Seeds" installation.

It's a two-day event, with live music and a cooking demonstration from Smoke's Tim Byres kicking things off on Friday, as well as a showing of "Bonnie & Clyde" courtesy of the Texas Theatre. Saturday's festivities start at noon with a beer garden and even more live music from acts such as Bona Fide Blues, The Roomsounds, and RTB2.
