The Altrusa International Club of Downtown Dallas presented the largest check in the club's history today to Dallas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) representatives, to help support the children of Dallas.
According to its website, "Dallas CASA exists so that abused and neglected children in protective care have the chance to become successful adults."
The downtown Dallas chapter has been in existence sinceĀ 1982 and has donated thousands of dollars and volunteer hours to local charities benefitting women and children in the Dallas area.
