Legendary rocker Jimmie Vaughan will be playing his first hometown show in 45 years at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Old Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff.

Vaughan will start off the evening with a special onstage presentation where he will talk with old classmates and band members and discuss growing up with his younger brother Stevie Ray Vaughan in Oak Cliff, according to the Texas Theatre website. Immediately following his special presentation, Vaughan will perform a concert with his Tilt-A-Whirl Band.

Jimmie Vaughn's legacy includes winning five Grammies and playing in the Fabulous Thunderbirds.
