Two seniors at the Science and Engineering Magnet School at Townview have been named National Merit Semifinalists.

Rojesh Koirala and Lauren T. Liou were selected as semifinalists and have the chance to be awarded money from the scholarship fund.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has selected 16,000 students nationwide as semifinalists and will eventually award about 8,300 scholarships totaling more than $34 million to winners next spring.
