Jazz musicians are welcome to participate.  Please bring your instruments and/or vocals, and your Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II) and join in. And you can try something new if you are moved to do so.  Sorry, but there is no equipment for musicians to use, so please be as self contained as possible. We appreciate drummers who are willing to set up and share their drums for the occasions. If you just want to listen, you may bring your beverage (nothing harder than wine and beer please), food and friends.

March 1 sees Andrew McKnight, an award-winning folk and Americana artist who is a longtime advocate of preserving Amercan landscapes and heritage. www.AndrewMcKnight.net.   Opening the evening is Emmeline Miles, a pint-sized singer/songwriter from Dallas, TX who revels in big words, unconventional cords, and persistent melodies (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOFmO5_3zyY) Due to the support and success of its Winter Solstice Celebration, plants are in the works  to celebrate the Spring Equinox as well on March 20.  Look for the ever popular "Jazz Under the Stars" in April or May.

A variety of entertaining follows on August 23 when the Coffee House presents its every successful "Vaudeville Night. Plans are already under way for the 2nd Oak Cliff Jazz Fest and Arts/Crafts Festival which sees jazz performers throughout the day as well as local crafts, artisans and artists promoting their wares and artwork. And lastly, but certainly not least, the 2nd Winter Solstice Celebration on Dec. 20 - an event not to be missed.
