Bourbon & Banter, the eclectic speakeasy located in the underground level of The Statler in downtown Dallas, has long been acclaimed for its extensive library of spirits and masterful mixologists. Now, the iconic hideaway is inviting you to a one-of-a-kind murder-mystery event featuring a three-course chef-prepared dinner. The murder mystery dinner is presented by Bourbon & Banter and The Murder Mystery Co., which was recently featured on TV’s “Shark Tank.”
Sir Warren Peace is hosting a party at his estate that will turn into a night of mystery, intrigue and murder you will never forget. As part of the killer crowd, you’ll be looking over your shoulder and guessing who the killer’s next victim will be. Bribe suspects for clues and gather information to uncover the unhinged guest who is whacking all the invitees – but be careful. You never know who’ll be next.
Dress in your best evening wear and suits – this is a refined party, after all.
The menu for the May 2 event features three courses:
APPETIZERS (served family-style)
Caprese Salad
Fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes drizzled with balsamic reduction
Stuffed Mushrooms
With a blend of spicy sausage, bread crumbs and Parmesan
Seafood Bruschetta
Toasted baguette slices topped with calamari and shrimp in a garlic-infused marinara
MAIN COURSE (choose one)
Succulent Shrimp
Succulent Argentinian shrimp with a blood-orange beurre blanc
Short Rib Osso Buco:
Slow-braised short rib in a rich tomato and wine reduction
DESSERT
Traditional Sicilian Cannoli
Filled with a decadent mix of ricotta, chocolate chips and a hint of orange zest
