The Winter Solstice Ritual is a celebration of the winter season starting in our Sanctuary and outdoors (weather permitting) in our labyrinth. There will be lights, wassail, wishes, and a toast for the holiday. Our ritual is open to all and there is no charge to attend, though we do accept donations to the church if you are willing and able.

Schedule of Events:

6:00: Gathering and Greeting
6:30: Starting the Celebration in the Sanctuary

Opening the Quarters
Readings & Music
An invitation to our ritual and celebration at the Labyrinth
Make an offering or contribution to the Earth Loom
Write a prayer for the new year and bring it to the fire pit in the center of the labyrinth
Celebrate with The Blot, or holy toast and offer a toast to someone/thing important from the past year
Closing the quarters

After the Ritual:

Coloring back in the Sanctuary
Join us at the fire pit with the Yule log and storytelling
