After more than two decades of serving students and communities through vehicle donations, America Can! Cars for Kids has officially entered a new chapter as Every Car Can.

The new name reflects the organization's continued commitment to helping students succeed while better representing the impact every vehicle donation can have on a young person's future. Although the brand has evolved, the mission remains unchanged: transforming donated vehicles into educational opportunities, student support services, and workforce readiness programs that help students overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

"This is an exciting moment for our organization," said Cheryl Sutterfield-Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Every Car Can. "Our new name captures what we've always believedthat every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every vehicle has the potential to help make that happen."

The rebrand introduces a refreshed visual identity and messaging designed to better communicate the organization's purpose while strengthening recognition across the communities it serves. Every Car Can continues to operate as a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Texans Can Academies, where proceeds from donated vehicles help fund educational programs and student support services.

To help introduce the new brand, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Iván "Pudge" Rodríguez has joined the organization as its new brand ambassador. Throughout the coming year, Rodríguez will appear in public awareness campaigns and community initiatives designed to encourage vehicle donations and expand support for students across Texas.

Since its founding in 1992, the organization has helped thousands of students pursue high school diplomas, career certifications, and brighter futures by investing in programs that remove barriers to education. Through donations of cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and other vehicles, Every Car Can continues to generate critical funding that directly benefits students and their communities.

Every Car Can (formerly known as America Can! Cars for Kids) is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Charity Car Show, taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Dallas. Following the success of its inaugural event, this years car show will once again bring together car enthusiasts, families, local businesses, and supporters for a day of community, purpose, and fun all benefiting students at Texans Can Academies.

Last years event welcomed more than 500 attendees, featured more than 70 vehicles, and raised over $100,000 to support students at Texans Can Academies. The 2026 show aims to build on that momentum with even more community participation, vehicle entries, sponsor support, and family-friendly experiences.

This event is about much more than cars, said Cheryl Sutterfield-Jones, CEO of Cars for Kids. Its about creating an experience that brings people together to support students who need encouragement, opportunity, and a strong community behind them. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Eric Kendricks made a special visit today to Texans Can Academy - Pleasant Grove in support of Cars for Kids and the schools efforts to provide a second chance for at-risk youth. The event was a huge success, with students getting the opportunity to meet one of their football heroes and hear firsthand about the importance of perseverance, education, and following their dreams.

Eric Kendricks, known for his passion for cars, was excited to be part of the event. Ive always had a love for cars, and to see how something as simple as a car donation can change a kids life here in Dallas is truly special, Kendricks said. Im proud to be a Dallas Cowboy, and being able to support the community that supports me means everything. I relate to these kids in so many waysgrowing up, I had challenges too. My goal is to inspire them to chase their dreams, no matter what obstacles they face.

Kendricks spoke to the students about his journey, offering words of encouragement, and emphasized the importance of education as a tool for success. The event provided inspiration to students who may face challenges in traditional school settings, reminding them that success is possible with hard work and support.
