Flamenco Fever is excited to announce its annual Paella y Pasión Spanish Cookout and Local Artist Showcase on Sunday, May 18, from 1 PM to 6 PM. This thrilling event will feature live dance, music performances, family-themed activities, and delicious paella from local chefs.

Paella y Pasión is a free indoor and outdoor community event that will be held in front of and behind La Cantera, Flamenco Fever's expansive new headquarters located at Kessler Hills Shopping Center, 1050 N Westmoreland Road, Ste. 328, Dallas, TX.

This cultural and culinary event will include performances by Latinx artists and aims to enhance cultural accessibility in Oak Cliff while supporting local arts training. Special guests from Flamenco Fever's Spring Flamenco Residency will make appearances. The day’s festivities will also feature a Spanish rock band, circus performers, face painting, free flamenco dance lessons, and music classes. Marissa Caggiano will lead a community mural project in the back parking lot. The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture partially sponsors the mural and the event.

Tickets for a bowl of paella and one drink will be available for $20 when purchased in advance (click HERE for purchase link); prices will be higher at the event. Each ticket also includes a Spanish-inspired souvenir to enliven the performance atmosphere. In addition to paella, sangria, beer, water, and soft drinks will be sold. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear festive clothing and bring lawn chairs.
