PROPOSED THOROUGHFARE PLAN AMENDMENT
SYLVAN AVENUE BETWEEN IH-30 and SINGLETON BOULEVARD

Your input is requested at a community meeting
to discuss a proposed Thoroughfare Plan amendment for
Sylvan Avenue between IH-30 and Singleton Boulevard on
Thursday, December 15, 2011
at
Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary School
3214 N. Winnetka Ave.
Dallas, TX 75212

This proposed street design approach places emphasis on establishing a design that
balances vehicle movement while incorporating amenities that accommodate
pedestrians, cyclists and public transit users and are consistent with the vision of the
community. The proposed amendment includes reducing the designated number of
travel lanes from six to four and adding bicycle lanes along the corridor.

A Ground Breaking Moment

Doctors Jennifer Lavender and Kathryn Sarpong, owners of Metro Paws Animal Hospital, LLC are pleased to inform you that Metro Paws Animal Hospital is expanding! They have just broken ground on a second hospital on Fort Worth Avenue near the Belmont Hotel! With a grand opening in May 2012 we look forward to adding Metro Paws as a great addition to our FWADG family.
